Congratulations to our 2010 filmmakers!
This year's Harvard-Westlake Film Festival (HWFF) received over 150 films from all over California from which 17 films were selected to be screened. On Friday, 19 March 2010, Harvard-Westlake’s 7th annual high school film festival will be held in the Cinerama Dome at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. The evening will begin with guest speaker Kathryn Bigelow (director, The Hurt Locker) in conversation with Jason Reitman ’95 (director, Up in the Air), followed by a screening of some of the year’s best high school films as listed below:
Back on the Bike – Garrett Gioia (Orange County High School for the Arts)
The Beast – Mario Adriano, Eric Becerra, Denny Dimalanta and Michael Greenwood (Providence High School)
Break Away – Franchesco Ramos (Cleveland High School)

The Compact – Grace Samson (Providence High School)
