Harvard-Westlake Middle School Modernization Project
 

At Harvard-Westlake, a New Era Begins

The Middle School Modernization Project provides an optimal academic environment for current and future students. The new campus layout harmoniously incorporates new buildings into the existing campus landscape and the neighborhood. Several existing structures were replaced with two new, modern classroom, administrative and arts buildings. Improved parking and traffic flow have been incorporated throughout the campus.

Phase II, which includes an expanded athletic field and upgrades to existing buildings, is expected to be complete in 2009.
Middle School Campus Tours
Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Campus tours will be held this fall on the newly modernized Middle School campus. Led by Vice President John Amato, the tours will be an opportunity for alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends of the school to see the exciting changes taking place at Harvard-Westlake.

The dates for the tours are:

  Monday, Oct. 27; Thursday, Nov. 13; and Friday, Dec. 12
  All tours will begin promptly at 11 a.m. and conclude by noon.

Space is limited, so please contact Susan Leher ’96 to reserve a spot if you would like to participate in one of these informative tours.  


School Year Starts on New, Modernized Middle School Campus

This is an exciting time at Harvard-Westlake School. After years of planning and building, the new middle school library-science building and academic building -- complete with a state-of-the-art performing arts center -- are open for business.

This completes the first phase of modernization for the middle school. Phase II, which includes an expanded athletic field and upgrades to existing buildings, is expected to be complete in 2009.

None of this would have been possible without the tremendous support we've received from our extended Harvard-Westlake community and our neighbors. Thank you!
