Head Cross-Country Coach Johnny Gray Elected to National Track & Field Hall of Fame
USA Track & Field announced on Tuesday that Head Cross-Country Coach and four-time Olympian Johnny Gray has been elected to the National Track & Field Hall of Fame.
Having set five American records, Gray is considered one of the greatest 800m runners in U.S. history. He qualified for four Olympic teams (1984, 1988, 1992 & 1996) and won the bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
Gray and the rest of the USATF Class of 2008 will be inducted Saturday evening, December 6, at the Jesse Owens Awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, held in conjunction with USATF's 2008 Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada.

League Meet Information
Dear Parents,
The Cross Country League Meet that takes place tomorrow is a special occasion that marks the end of season for all but the Varsity teams that qualify to go on to the CIF Southern Section Prelims at Mt. SAC a week from Saturday. I hope to see you there if you can make it. The meet is at Crescenta Park and following is the order of events:
2:00 Girls JV
2:30 Boys JV
3:00 Girls Varsity
3:30 Boys Varsity
The awards ceremony will take place around 4:15.

Harvard-Westlake vs. Notre Dame & St. Francis & MT. SAC
This was a challenging week. We had hoped to move our home meet against St. Francis and Notre Dame to Tuesday to allow for more than a one-day rest before the Mt. SAC Invitational, but could not.
