We have been notified by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) that heavy construction on Coldwater Canyon Avenue will occur Monday, December 19 through Friday, December 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. In order for this construction to take place, Coldwater Canyon will be reduced to one lane in both directions.
The construction will involve a heavy flagging operation, stopping traffic in one direction to allow traffic from the other direction to pass, which may cause delays. The LADWP is advising motorists to use alternate routes during this time. Since the entrances to Harvard-Westlake Upper School can only be accessed via Coldwater Canyon, please be aware of this possible delay.
It is likely that this construction will not be completed by December 30 and will carry over into January when we return from winter break. Please allow extra time to travel to and from school. Updates will be posted here as soon as we receive them.
