The School encourages communication between families and the school. While voice mail and e-mail are efficient methods of communication, we do not feel these should replace face-to-face contact. The faculty and staff should respond to voice mail and e-mail messages within 24 hours or one school day.

Due to a technical issue that we are trying to resolve, if you have a Gmail account, your Harvard-Westlake e-mails may be going directly to your junk e-mail box-or may not be getting delivered at all!
Here is a quick solution to the problem:
- Open your Gmail account.
- Click Create a filter (next to the Search the Web button at the top of any Gmail page).
- Enter "hw.com" in the From field.
- Click Next Step.
- Select Never send it to Spam.
- Click Create Filter.
