Based on marked white paper (footprints, spills etc.) produce a design from elements and motifs in the found shapes.

From a location in the art plaza draw a linear abstraction of a perspective view including a building and nature.

(A) Based on an organic theme draw a repeatable segment which can be the motif of a pattern.
(B) Color photo copy the original drawing 4 to 6 times. Arrange the reproductions into a recognizable pattern suitable for fabric, tiles, or wall paper.

Design to communicate

Based on a photograph, divide it into two sections. Reproduce half of it as a fully shaded pencil drawing. Complete the other side with arbitrary color to show the interior psychology of the personality.

(A)  Discuss type and do exercises for 1 week.

(B) Create a    book cover based on the previous illustration with appropriate type and illustration.

(C)  Design a logo for a given new company.

Create a composition based on the repetition of a single figure to create the sense of Cubist space and/or the Dada sense of movement.
