    I am the Head of Athletics at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to serving in this role, I was the Athletic Director for Communication at HW.

    Before coming to Harvard-Westlake, I was a Department Business Manager at the University of Southern California (USC), where I was responsible for the restricted and unrestricted budgets for the Linguistics, Psychology, and Neuroscience departments.

    I received my bachelors in communication and my master’s in education from USC. I was also captain of the USC Football team in 1995.

    I am the Athletic Director in charge of Compliance and the Middle School at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to serving in this role, I worked in the football program as Assistant Head Coach, Varsity Offensive Line Coach and Director of Middle School Football.

    Before coming to Harvard-Westlake, I coached and taught on the east coast, starting my career in special education.   

    I received my bachelors in Political Science from Penn St. University and my master’s in administration from Concordia University of Irvine.

    I am the Athletic Director in charge of Operations at Harvard-Westlake School.

    I was the head coach of the swim teams at Harvard-Westlake for thirty years before retiring from coaching in 2012.

    As Program Head for swimming, the girls’ team won a CIF title, and I was privileged to coach numerous All Americans, a national champion, and 5-time Olympian, Dara Torres.

    Before working at Harvard-Westlake, I was the Athletic Director at Immaculate Heart High School and St. Michaels High School.

    I received my bachelor of arts degree in physical education from California State University, Northridge, and my master of science degree in athletic administration from Ohio University.

    I am also the Director of Summer Sports Programs and the chair for the Community & Character Committee at Harvard-Westlake.

    I am the Athletic Director for Communications and Student Services at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to coming to Harvard-Westlake in 2013, I was the Head of Athletics for the Milken and Stephen S. Wise schools for 18 years.

    I received a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from the Carnegie College of Physical Education at Leeds Metropolitan University in England, where I captained the University's soccer team and was selected to represent the British Universties.

    I completed a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Pepperdine University, Malibu.

    Outside of Harvard-Westlake I coach club soccer for the Westside Breakers Soccer Club.

    I am the Physical Education department chair at Harvard-Westlake Middle School. 

    Prior to serving in this role, I was one of HW’s athletic trainers, primarily covering the middle school.

    I received my bachelors of science degree in Kinesiology from U.C.L.A.  I was in the student trainer internship program at U.C.L.A. where I worked with teams that included Football, Basketball, Baseball and Swimming.

    I teach Physical Education and assist with Middle School Girls’ Soccer program.

    I started working at Harvard Westlake as on off campus coach in 1997 and was iProgram Head for Boys' Soccer from 2000-2012.

    I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge. I was also captain of the Men’s Soccer Program at CSUN in 98’ & 99’.

    Outside of Harvard Westlake, I am a head coach for Santa Monica United Soccer Club.

    I am in my first season as Program Head for Girls Volleyball. 

    I joined the Wolverine family in summer 2017 after three years as Head Coach of Mira Costa High School.  At Mira Costa, I helped lead our team to a League Championship 2 years in a row, tournament championships at the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions, Ann Kang Invitational, and Queens Court Tournament, and was named Daily Breeze Coach of the Year 2016. 

    I am the director of Surfside Volleyball Club with 25 teams in three locations across the greater Los Angeles area.  My teams have consistently qualified for Junior Nationals, and have been ranked top 10 in Southern California. 

    I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Davidson College with a degree in Political Science and Education.

    I am the Wrestling Program Head, as well as an assistant football coach at Harvard-Westlake.

    Before arriving at Harvard-Westlake, I spent 3 years as the head wrestling coach and offensive coordinator at Santa Fe South HS in Oklahoma City, OK.

    While at SFS, I also served as an instructor in the school’s alternative program. Prior to that I was a varsity assistant in wrestling, football and baseball at Edmond Memorial HS in Edmond, OK for 9 years.

    I graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a BS in Organizational Leadership.

    I am the Program Head for Girls' Golf at Harvard Westlake. 

    Prior to coming to Harvard Westlake, I was an assistant golf professional at various clubs in Ventura County.  I was also the Director of Instruction at an indoor high tech training facility for GOLFTEC. 

    I am a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals Division.  I have served as a membership director for American Golf, Club Corp and KSL.  

    I played college volleyball at UCSB where I earned a bachelor of arts degree in Law & Society.   When I am not coaching golf, I am a retirement income specialist for Edward Jones Investments.

    I am the Equestrian Team Program Head at Harvard-Westlake School.

    I began coaching shortly after my graduation from Amherst College, where I received my B.A. in Fine Arts.

    I graduated from Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California, and currently work as a Pediatric Neurologist with a focus on sports-related concussion and traumatic brain injury. 

    I am an alumna of Harvard-Westlake where I was on the CIF Champion Girls Swim Team and rode on the equestrian team.

    I am the Head of the Field Hockey program at Harvard-Westlake. 

    In the fifteen years of coaching at Harvard-Westlake, we have won field hockey’s end of season championship three times (2003, 2014, and 2017), and in my twelve years as program head and head varsity coach, we have been league champions seven times.

    Before coming to Harvard-Westlake, I attended Davidson College, where I played DI field hockey and majored in English.  In addition to coaching field hockey at Harvard-Westlake, I am also a middle school English teacher.

    I received my MA in English from Middlebury College.

    I am the Program Head of Girls Tennis at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to serving in this role, I worked as a tennis coach at Riviera Country Club, in Pacific Palisades, and competed on the professional tennis tour.

    I received a D-1 tennis scholarship from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in business management and economics in 2011.

    I was also the captain on the tennis team at UNC-Chapel Hill.

    I am the Program Head for Cheerleading at Harvard-Westlake School.

    For the past five years, I was the assistant coach for the Cheer Program at Harvard Westlake. 

    I have over 18 years of experience in cheer and dance including the NBA and Arena Football League, and currently dance for the Walt Disney Company. 

    I also spend much of my time teaching dance, cheer and fitness to students of all ages around the country.

    I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources from the University of New Mexico in 2008.

    I am the Aquatics Director at Harvard-Westlake High School. 

    I am a HW Alumni and graduated to play water polo for the UCLA Bruins.

    I have coached for the United States National Cadet team and was an age group director of Los Angeles Water Polo Club before coming back to coach at Harvard-Westlake.

    As Program Head for Water Polo my girls team won the CIF-SS in 2012 and the boys won Division I section titles in 2013 and 2014. 

    I am currently the Director of the Los Angeles Premier Water Polo.

    I received my bachelors in history from UCLA.

    I am the Head Girls’ Water Polo Coach at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to becoming the Program Head I was the Assistant Girls’ Water Polo Coach.

    Currently, I also coached the Coastal Developmental Team for the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program and I am the Head Girls’ Coach for LA Premier Water Polo Club.

    I was a member of the United States National Team from 2005-2013. I played my collegiate career at the University of California, Los Angeles and earned ACWPC All-American honors.

    I received my Bachelor’s Degree in History from UCLA, Class of 2013. After graduating, I played professional water polo in the FINA Italian Pallanuoto League (2013-2016).

    I am the Program Head for Baseball at Harvard-Westlake School

    Before taking over the program in 2016, I was an assistant coach for four years. I have been a part of Wolverine teams that have won 3 league championships, a National Championship and a CIF-SS Div 1 title.

    I graduated from Fresno State with a BA in Health Science. As an athlete, I was able to help the Bulldogs win their first ever NCAA Div 1 National Baseball Championship.

    I am the Program Head for Girls’ Basketball at Harvard-Westlake.

    I have been a head coach for thirty-three years and this is my eighteenth year at Harvard-Westlake. Prior to coming to Harvard-Westlake, I Was the Head Coach at Bishop Alemany High School.  

    I have led my teams to seventeen league titles, eleven Southern Section finals and six championships. Two of my teams have competed in state finals. We won the CA State Championship at Harvard-Westlake in 2010. 

    I received my Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from the University of San Francisco where I played basketball and softball.  I received a Master of Arts in Physical Education from California State University Northridge.

    I am the Director of the Institute of Scholastic Sports Science and Medicine at Harvard-Westlake School.

    I taught and coached at Harvard-Westlake School for twenty-five years. I retired from full-time teaching at the end of the 2014 school year and became the Director of ISSSM in January 2016.

    I served as Dean of the Harvard-Westlake Upper School Faculty and led the Student Workload Initiative from its inception. I taught Genetics and Biotechnology and Chemistry and was a member of the Kutler Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and Research. I also created the Genetics and Biotechnology course at Harvard-Westlake and pioneered a school-research institution partnership where students pursued and published DNA barcoding projects.  

    I graduated from Yale Law School where I received a Juris Doctor degree.

    I am the Program Head for Fencing.

    I have been teaching and coaching at Harvard School for Boys/ and Harvard-Westlake since 1980. 

    I received my diploma as Military Master at Arms from San Jose State University in 1986. I have a Master's degree in Theater from the University of Connecticut, 1967. I have taught and coached at UCLA, Occidental, and Loyola Marymount as well as several private schools in Los Angeles.

    I am a co-founder of the Southern California Scholastic Fencing League.

    I am the Boys' Golf Program Head at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to serving in this role I have been coaching and mentoring Junior Golfers from Southern California that have played and continue to play on the National level competing on the AJGA, SCPGA JUNIOR Tours.

    Several of my players have won USGA events and have gone on to play NCAA Division I golf and a few have made a career playing golf on the PGA and LPGA.

    I was the Assistant Golf Coach at UCLA for both Men’s and Women’s Golf Program and was proud to be part of the Women’s Golf Team to win the National Championship in 2004.

    I am in my 33rd year of Coaching at Harvard-Westlake.  This is my 30th as the Head of Track and Field and my 21st year coaching in the cross country program.

    I have helped guide the Wolverines to six CIF team titles amassing over 550 HS wins in the two sports and have coached over 400 CIF Finalists.   I have also coached four National Record and Grade Level Record performances as well as six athletes that have represented the USA in International competition. 

    I currently teach Physical Education at Harvard-Westlake and taught History at the school for 15 years as well as served as one of the school’s ADs for seven years. 

    I was a Decathlete for UC Santa Barbara and placed in the Big West Championships in that event as a Junior.  I am also a proud alum of Harvard-Westlake having graduated from the Harvard School in 1983.

    Before coming to Harvard Westlake, I co-founded the Santa Monica Dragons youth lacrosse program  while finishing my pro career in Major League Lacrosse. 

    I attended Salisbury University where I won 3 National Championships, and graduated with a major in Social work and minor in exercise science

    I am the Boys' Volleyball Program Head at Harvard-Westlake School. 

    I have worked for Harvard-Westlake's volleyball program as both the freshman head coach and the boys’ volleyball JV head coach. 

    I am the head coach of both the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) men’s and women’s club volleyball teams.  This will be my third season as head coach of their women’s club program. 

    I received a bachelors degree in business administration as a marketing major from Loyola Marymount University. During that time, I was a four year starter for the LMU Men’s Club Volleyball Team, including being named both captain and club sport athlete of the year my senior year.

    In the last two years the Varsity basketball program won a State title (2016) and a CIF Division 1 title (2017).

    Before coming to Harvard-Westlake, I was an assistant basketball coach at the University of San Francisco and Head Coach at El Camino Real High School for 6 years that included two city championships in 2010 and 2012.

    I received my BA and MA/teaching credential from California State University Northridge.

    I am currently the Executive Director/Head Coach of Los Angeles Swim Club, since 2008. 

    I received my bachelors in fine arts from the University of Florida where I was also a member to the Florida Gator SEC championship swim teams.

    I am the Cross Country Head Coach and serve as a Track & Field Assistant Coach.

    I have over 12 years’ experience at Harvard Westlake. I have been part of five CIF team championship teams in Cross Country and Track & Field. I have coached 23 CIF and State Champions; athletes who have made multiple National Championship appearances including two National Champions and two National Record holders.

    I am the Head of Girls’ Soccer and a full-time Physical Education at Harvard-Westlake School. I was named CIF Girls Soccer Coach of the Year in 2006 and 2010 and the California State Coach of the Year in 2012.

    Prior to Harvard-Westlake I was the Head of Girls’ Soccer at Crossroads School and have taught PE and coached at Westmark School and Stephen S. Wise Elementary School.

    Outside of Harvard-Westlake, I work as a head coach for the Westside Breakers Soccer Club and previously coached for the Real So Cal Soccer Club.

    I am the Program Head for Boys Tennis program at Harvard-Westlake school .

    In my 17 years at HW, the boys’ tennis program has won 4 CIF-SS team championships, 3 of them in Division I.

    I was the girls’ tennis program head for 15 seasons and coached Boys Soccer. 

    Prior to working at HW, I worked at Hillcrest Country Club, developing and working with their junior tennis program, as well as coaching juniors and adults at the Santa Monica Tennis Center. 

    I earned my Bachelor’s degree with honors in Kinesiology at Cal State Northridge University and played soccer for the Men’s team in 1994 and 1995.

    I have 18 years of experience as a soccer coach at all levels. Prior to coming to Harvard Westlake I worked with the women's professional team in Washington, D.C. and the DC United Academy.  

    Before that I worked in the Maryland Olympic Development Program for eight years and at St Mary's College of Southern Maryland for four years.

    Prior to joining Harvard-Westlake, I spent the previous 5 years as the Athletic Trainer for El Camino Real Charter High School in West Hills, CA. I was responsible for implementing and managing the Athletic Training Program for the school.

    I graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training. I received a Master's Degree in Education from Concordia University, Portland in 2016.

    I am the assigned Athletic Trainer for Harvard-Westlake Baseball, Girls Basketball, Swimming and Diving, Girls Tennis, Boys’ and Girls’ Water Polo.

    I am a certified Athletic Trainer in the Sports Medicine Department at Harvard-Westlake.

    I work primarily on the Middle School campus serving student in Grades 7-9 but I have responsibilities with Upper School athletic programs throughout the year.

    I graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Athletic Training. I worked at the University of Florida, assigned to the cross-country and track and field programs.

    I gained High School experience at Foothill High School in California, working with all of their athletic programs.

    I am the assigned Athletic Trainer for Harvard-Westlake Middle School, and work with the Upper School Softball and Wrestling programs.

    I am the Director of Sports Medicine at Harvard-Westlake School.

    I came to Harvard-Westlake from Stanford University where I worked as the Associate Director of Athletic Training for the Stanford Cardinal football program.  I have experience in multiple University sports medicine programs including the University of Maryland, where I served as Assistant Athletic Director for the Terrapins’, at the University of Toledo, and at the University of Connecticut.

    I have overseen the day-to-day operations for multiple college Sports Medicine departments, including supervising a staff of 17 athletic trainers and eight team physicians.

    I earned a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and athletic training from West Chester University in 2003. I completed a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from the University of Connecticut in 2005. 

    I work directly with Harvard-Westlake Football, Boys’ Basketball, Lacrosse, Boys’ Soccer, Boys’ and Girls’ Volleyball.

    I am a certified Athletic Trainer in the Sports Medicine Department at Harvard-Westlake School.

    I began my career in Sports Medicine as a student with the College of the Canyons (COC) sports medicine department, where I earned an associate degree.  I transferred to the California State University, at Northridge and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. 

    I love all sports, while completing my undergraduate degrees I played golf competitively and rode horses. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Fresno Pacific University. 

    I am the assigned Athletic Trainer for Harvard-Westlake Cross-Country, Field Hockey, Girls’ Soccer, Boys’ Tennis, Track and Field.

    I am a Sports Performance Coach at Harvard-Westlake School. 

    Before joining the Wolverines I worked at Milken Community Schools as the Strength and Conditioning and Football assistant coach.  I have worked at the collegiate level at Pierce College, the University of Southern California, and worked with national team programs for United States Beach Volleyball and Water-polo program.

    I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and have a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certification.

    I oversee the Harvard-Westlake strength and conditioning programs for Girls Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Lacrosse, and Track and Field.

    I am a Sports Performance Coach at Harvard-Westlake. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. I spent the last 5 years in the private fitness sector, running my own personal training business in addition to coaching youth weightlifting. 

    I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and holds a USA Weightlifting certification.

    I assist with the sports performance of all Harvard-Westlake athletic programs.

    I am the Director for Sports Performance at Harvard-Westlake School. I joined the Wolverine family in July of 2017.

    I have over 12 years’ experience in strength and conditioning at the NCAA Division I level, most recently serving as the Director of Sports Performance for California State University of Northridge. 

    At CSUN I supervised the strength & conditioning needs for CSUN’s 20 athletic programs.  Prior to that I was an assistant Strength & Conditioning coach for the UC Davis Aggies from 2008-2010. 

    I received my Master’s in Physical Education/Coaching from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2008, where I served as a strength and conditioning coach for 4 of their varsity programs.  I earned a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.

    I am a Sports Performance Coach at Harvard-Westlake School.

    Prior to Harvard-Westlake, I was the sports science coordinator/strength and conditioning coach for CSUN’s NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs.

    I have worked at the high school level as a strength and conditioning coach at Granada Hills Charter High School and interned with the UCLA Football team. I have also coached competitive weightlifters at Takano Weightlifting.

    I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from CSUN, and am currently working on a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning at Edith Cowan University in Australia. I am certified in CSCS and USAW. 

    I oversee the strength and conditioning programs for Harvard-Westlake’s Field Hockey, Softball, Boys’ volleyball and Wrestling.

    I am a Sports Performance Coach at Harvard-Westlake School.

    I joined the Harvard-Westlake Sports Performance team in December, 2016 after spending 5 years as a strength and conditioning coach between the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CSUN, and California Lutheran University. 

    I graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science where I played water polo.  I am currently completing a Masters’ degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology, at CSUN. 

    I oversee the Harvard-Westlake strength and conditioning programs for Girls’ Golf, Boys’ Soccer, Swimming and Diving, Girls’ Tennis, and Boys’ and Girls’ Water Polo.

    I am the Athletic Equipment Manager and school transportation for both the middle and upper school campuses. 

    As the athletic equipment manager, I am responsible for maintaining, ordering, and inventory of all the HW sports athletic equipment and uniforms. 

    I am native of Mexico and have lived in the US for 33 years. This year I will be celebrating 21 years at Harvard-Westlake. Prior to coming to Harvard-Westlake, I ran my own business in textiles. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, eating, and traveling.

    Athletics Administrative Assistant/Transportation

    I started at Harvard-Westlake in 2000 and hadave served many roles in the Athletic Department through the years.

    Before coming to Harvard-Westlake I held various administrative positions along being a teacher’s assistant at a pre-school. I am now responsible for coordinating transportation for Athletics and Field trips for both campuses.

    I Enjoy outdoor activities including softball which I had the opportunity to play in the  Amateur Sport Development for the USA Women’s softball team in the Bahamas.

    I am the Athletics Facilities Manager.

    I have been working at Harvard-Westlake since 1989. 

    I oversee field and equipment maintenance for all 27 athletic programs.

    I am a full-time bus driver and vehicle maintenance manager for the athletic department at Harvard-Westlake.

    I have been at Harvard-Westlake for eleven years. Prior to working at Harvard-Westlake, I was a bus driver for Atlantic Express.

    I am the Assistant Director of Maintenance for Athletic Facilities at Harvard-Westlake School, as well as  a general maintenance employee for the entire school.

    Prior to coming to Harvard-Westlake, I worked in industrial maintenance for fifteen years.

    I am the Executive Assistant to the Head of Athletics and a 7th grade Library and Technology teacher at the middle school.

    Prior to becoming the Executive Assistant to the Head of Athletics, I coached volleyball for the boys’ and girls’ programs at Harvard-Westlake.

    Outside of Harvard-Westlake I serve as a director for Surfside Volleyball Club and I am an administrator for LA Premier Water Polo Club.

    I received my B.A. from California State University, Northridge in Sociology, and my M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University-Irvine.
