Upper School Track & Field Coach Felix Sanchez has eclipsed his own World Record in the Indoor 400M hurdles twice this winter.
His most recent revision of the global standard came on February 18th in Val De Reuil, France as he became the first athlete in history to break 49 seconds over the barriers indoors as he clocked a flying 48.78 over the two laps on the 200M indoor track.
On February 4th in Mondeville, France Coach Sanchez had covered the two laps with hurdles in 49.25. This race broke his existing World Record from the same Val De Reuil meet in 2010 where he went 49.74.
The fine result is very encouraging for Coach Sanchez in the Olympic year as he assembles the training and preparation he will need to be ready for London in early August.
All the Wolverines say WOW and congratulations to Coach!!!
