Field Hockey Week in Review
Both the Varsity and the JV Field Hockey teams beat Glendora to win their Leagues last Thursday, October 30. Although the Varsity game was tight, winning 1-0 with their only goal by Senior Ketter Weissman, the JV soundly beat Glendora 5-0. Last night, the Varsity defeated Fountain Valley 4-1 in the first round of play-offs. The first fifteen minutes were tight with a tie game 1-1 with a goal by Olivia Kestin, but then the Wolverines broke away scoring three additional goals. Olivia's first goal was followed by a goal from Molly Goodman, a goal by Hannah Levitt, and a final second goal by Olivia Kestin. Tonight, the Wolverines play in the semi-finals at home against Newport Harbor 6 pm.

Field Hockey Week in Review
We had an excellent start to our League play this past week. On Tuesday, the Varsity and JV both defeated Bonita. The Varsity beat Bonita 4 to 1 with goals from Courtney Reamer, Heidi Chung, Ketter Weissman, and Molly Goodman. The JV were relentless against Bonita's defense putting in eight goals to win the game. On Thursday, the Varsity played their best game of the season thus far beating Louisville 4-0. Despite Louisville's strong offensive team, they were unable to get past our incredible defense. Jacqui Lee did an especially good job of shutting down's Louisville key offensive player, Emily Hendrikson who will be playing for Stanford next year. Despite feeling sick, Hannah Levitt put in the first goal of our game. Two minutes later, Olivia Kestin quickly followed up with a second goal. The final two goals were scored during the second half by Stacy Lee and Molly Goodman. The JV beat Louisville 11-0.
