8th Grade Boys Soccer Beats Campbell Hall 5-0

“Score like they vote in Chicago---Early and often…”
That was the comment off the bus as we arrived at the Campbell Hall field in Studio City, and the boys seemed to take that admonition as an order.
We scored in the first minute and never looked back as we defeated the Campbell Halls 5-0. We ran well, passed exceptionally well, and played well as a team. This combination of “wells” allowed us to defeat a team that will cause damage in this league, but today was not competitive with a talented H-W team. While heading and organized play was sub-par in the Brentwood contest, the boys rose to the occasion in this contest. Passing on a very narrow was crisp and accurate and the energy continued to grow after we scored early. This was a good win for the boys as we entered the holiday break and was the last win of the 2008 season. Time does fly when you are having fun winning.
Congratulations to the boys, thank you to our parent fans, and to all--- have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Appreciatively,
John and Gabe
