Girls Basketball Defeats The Paramount Pirates 74 – 47

The Wolverines began pool play with a victory over the Paramount Pirates 74 – 47 in the Beverly Hills Winter Classic. Three Wolverines scored in double figures with Nicole Hung leading with 26 points, Nicole Nesbit with 19 points and 6 steals, Sydney Haydel had her second double double of the year with 12 points and 13 rebounds and Skylar Tsutsui contributed 7 points and 6 assists. Tonight the girls will take on Oak Park in the second round of pool play at 6:00pm.
