Below
are some common questions visitors sometimes have to Web sites.
If you do not find the answer to your question here, drop
us a line and we'll be happy to help if we can.
My
browser says I have something called "Javascript errors."
What's wrong?
Most
likely you are using an old version of your browser which cannot
handle certain functions of newer sites. Download a free upgrade
for Internet
Explorer or Netscape
Navigator.
My
browser tells me I do not have something called a "Flash Viewer"
installed. What is this?
Most
browsers have the Flash viwer already installed as a "plug-in."
The Flash player allows you to view certain animations. If you have
not updated your browser recently, you can use the links in the
previous answer or download
the free Flash player by itself. Flash is used for the school
motto at the bottom of each page and for other features of this
site.

to view and print pdf files, you need to download
the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I
have a blind friend who would like to learn more about Harvard-Westlake.
Can she visit the site?
Yes!
The Harvard-Westlake site is accessible to the disabled. Most software
programs that read Web sites out loud to the blind or visually impaired
should encounter no problems on our site. If you discover a problem
in reading the site with softwware for the blind, please let
us know.
I'm
not blind, but my sight is not what it used to be. How can I increase
the type size of your site?
In
Internet Explorer, go to the "view" menu at the very top
bar and select "type zoom." Choose one of the options
to increase the type size to your own comfort level.
In
Netscape, go to
