First Phase

Phase I construction began in September 2006 and significantly transformed the campus with the addition of a new library-science building and a new academic building, complete with a state-of-the art performing arts center. The newly modernized campus provides an optimal academic environment for current and future students.

The first phase of construction was limited to the property south of the existing school site, on seven acres.

The photos below provide a visual tour of the new middle school campus, starting with the library-science building and ending with the academic building.

Second Phase

The second phase was centered on redefining certain parts of the existing campus. Of particular note are: the expanded athletic field, which now enables us to have four practice areas on one large field, and upgrades to Reynolds Hall and the Marshall Center. The phased demolition and construction schedule for the project allowed school to remain fully in session while minimizing the impact on the neighborhood.
