Assemblies

All-School Assemblies are held every Monday morning at the Middle School and are a time for the entire campus to come together to hear general announcements, see student performances, or enjoy guest presentations.  The Upper School gathers several times a year to hear guest speakers who are part of the Brown Family Speaker series, Women’s History Month, African American History Month, or one of the many clubs and cultural groups on campus.

Harvard-Westlake has been fortunate enough to host speakers as varied and interesting as astronaut Dr. Sally Ride '68, commentator Fareed Zakaria, historian Stephen Ambrose, Olympian Dara Torres '85, comedian Ellen DeGeneres, social activist Kevin Jennings, filmmaker Ken Burns and musician Herbie Hancock.
