Boys' & Girls' Basketball

Grade Levels:	5 - 8

Cost:	$275 for the session.

Led by Harvard-Westlake Assistant Varsity Coach, George Fecske and staff, this camp is designed for beginning to intermediate players. It will emphasize all the fundamentals of basketball: ball-handling, passing, dribbling, man-to-man defense and offense, zone defense and offense, shooting, rebounding, footwork, screens, cuts, and conditioning. Plan to have great fun with Coach Fecske and current Varsity Players and learn basketball at the same time! Each day will feature warm-ups, games and fun contests. The number of coaches will be determined by enrollment to assure a low coach-to-player ratio. Coach Fecske has been a part of Harvard-Westlake Basketball for the past fourteen seasons in which the Wolverines have won seven C.I.F. championships and two State Championships. Come experience the winning tradition.

Collins Basketball Camp

Harvard-Westlake alumni Jason Collins, who plays with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and his twin brother, Jarron, of the Utah Jazz, will join longtime Assistant Varsity Coach, George Fecske every day to coach this memorable camp. Due to their off-season NBA training, the Collins’ hours at camp will be limited, but they will attend each day. Designed for beginning to intermediate players, the camp will emphasize all the fundamentals of basketball: ball-handling, passing, dribbling, man-to-man defense and offense, zone defense and offense, shooting, rebounding, footwork, screens, cuts, and conditioning. Plan to have great fun with Coach Fecske and current Varsity Players, get to know these NBA stars, and learn basketball at the same time! Each day will feature warm-ups, games and fun contests along with special guests. The number of coaches will be determined by enrollment to assure a low coach-to-player ratio. On the last day of camp, there will be an autograph session. Come experience the tradition of championship Wolverine Basketball. Enrollment is limited.

Girls Basketball

Individual Skills Camp: Understanding the game is an integral component of being a good player. This camp will stress fundamentals focusing on individual offensive and defensive skills, and begin the process by applying individual skills to team offense, defense, and transition. The camp is designed for beginning to intermediate players and will emphasize all the fundamentals of basketball including ball-handling, passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, foot work. Each participant will be provided with a camp T-shirt and plenty of individual attention. Coach Hearlihy has been a Varsity Head Coach for the past twenty years, winning fourteen Mission League titles and four CIF Championships. Enrollment is limited.
