CHOOSING COURSES
All the information about our courses and programs can be found by navigating through our website. Choose the different course areas using the tabs on the left to see all that we have to offer. To get a general overview of all our courses, please download the Course Offerings document found below. This document is in .pdf format, and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the document. If you have any questions about any of the courses or programs, please contact the Summer Program Office at (818)487-6527 or at summerprograms@hw.com.
ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE
Once you have chosen the courses and programs, you will need to complete the enrollment process. To enroll a student in a course or camp, please click on the registration tab from the menu on the left. You will be directed to our on-line enrollment forms. If you are a current Harvard-Westlake student, you may bill your account if you provide your Student ID Number. If you do not have an active Harvard-Westlake student I.D./account number or do not wish to have your account billed,
you must pay the full value of tuition before your child will be enrolled in any course or camp. Payment may be made by check or credit card. Because we purchase books and materials as well as secure teachers based on enrollment, full tuition is due upon registration and spaces will not be held without payment. Registrations for open courses will be accepted up to the first day of the class or camp.
Please note: You are required to download and complete a medical release form as part of the registration procedure. This form must be brought on the first day of class or camp in order to be admitted into class or camp. You may download a copy of the emergency medical release form from the box on the righthand side of the Registration Page.
GRADE LEVEL
The grade level for each course is the grade the student will enter in September 2010.
REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, WITHDRAWALS
I understand that Harvard-Westlake is a school of limited enrollment and makes advance arrangements for the accommodation, materials, textbooks and instruction of each of its students for the 2010 Summer Program. I thus acknowledge that tuition includes a 20% non-refundable administrative fee per course. Furthermore, I acknowledge that withdrawals will receive a refund as follows:
- 80%, if written request is received one-week or more before the start of class/camp
- No refund will be made for withdrawals later than one week before class/camp
Tuition is not prorated due to absence or late entry. Transfers between courses, within one week of the start of the class or camp, will result in a transfer fee of $75 in addition to any incremental monies due based on course selection differential. No transfer credit is given for selection of a course which costs less than the original choice. Harvard-Westlake Summer Programs reserves the right to cancel a class/camp. A full 100% refund will be made for such cancellations.
BUILDINGS CLOSED
Please note that the Libraries, Cafeterias and Bookstores on both campuses will be closed for the entire Summer Program.
WAIT LISTS
If you register for a class that is full, you will be placed on a wait list.
