Join the coaching staff at Harvard-Westlake School in this week-long field hockey camp. The camp will be divided into two groups for campers who have previous experience and an introductory group for those who have never played field hockey before. The camp is sanctioned by United States Field Hockey Association. Harvard Westlake has won several league and CIF championships, and, in addition, the school’s players have won club championships in USFHA and international competition. The Harvard-Westlake Field Hockey camp is a referral camp for the USFHA National Futures Program which allows athletes entry into Olympic developmental programs. During the camp, athletes will be divided into smaller groups for individual instruction covering fundamental skills, drills, games, passing and receiving and principles of play. Special sessions for goalkeepers will also be offered. Daily scrimmage games, camp prizes and indoor hockey will be introduced at the camp. All students will receive a camp T-shirt, scrimmage vest, a mouth piece, and a field hockey ball. Sticks may be borrowed if students do not own one.
