Madick Presented with Mary G. Paget Prize at Senior Letterwinners Dinner
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -
All-America swimmer Geoff Rathgeber and All-America ice hockey player Caitlin Cahow were honored as Harvard's top senior athletes Wednesday at the annual Harvard Varsity Club Senior Letterwinners Dinner at the Murr Center.

The Wolverines lose 3-2 in a CIF playoff record, 20 Inning Game
It's 3:15 on Tuesday, May 13th and Downey’s Nate Coranada has just thrown the first pitch of the CIF wildcard playoff game to Gavin McCourt. No one would have suspected that the last pitch would come by the arm of Jack LaZebnik, 20 innings and 7 ½ hours later.

Wolverines Playoff matchup vs. Downey High School Tuesday May 13th, 2008
The Wolverines will play their first CIF playoff game in 5 years on Tuesday against Downey High School. Downey is part of the San Gabriel League in the CIF Southern Section; The Vikings finished the year in 2nd place in their League with a league record of 10-5 and an overall record of 17-10. Harvard -Westlake finished fourth in the Mission League (one of the toughest leagues in the division) with a record of 5-12 in league and 14-12 record overall.

Girls Swimming Information
The girls did really well on Saturday and placed 8th overall in Div II CIF. We also qualified 2 relays (Maddy Sprung-Keyser, Cathryn Quinn, Allison Merz, Alex Edel) and 100 Fly (Allison Merz and 100 Back (Maddy Sprung-Keyser). Masters is tomorrow at Long Beach Belmont Pool, start time 5pm. Congratulations to Schuyler Moore for placing 4th in Div. II CIF!!

Baseball: Schultz pushes Harvard-Westlake into postseason
It turned out Harvard-Westlake didn't have to win this afternoon's game against St. Francis to make the postseason, but that didn't stop Eric Shultz from playing like his back was against the wall.

That the Athletic Department offers a late shuttle from the Upper School to the Middle School everyday? The shuttle leaves the Upper School at 7pm and arrives at the Middle School between 7:20-7:30.
