For faculty, staff, and administrators from underrepresented groups interested in working in independent schools.
The fair gives attendees the opportunity to learn about working in an independent school and speak with representatives about open positions.
In 2023, attendees heard from Carla Cretaro, from the John Thomas Dye School. Carla is an alumni of Harvard-Westlake School, has spent her career in the Charter and Independent School system, and a current parent of two sons attending Harvard-Westlake. She shared the value and importance of working at an independent school from her multi-faceted experiences.
Attendees also heard from current students and listened to panel discussions on teaching in an independent school; diversity, equity, and inclusion in education; and working as an administrator in an independent school.
