Westflix ‘22 will take place on March 18 and 19, 2022, and includes a screening of the best films by high school students in California, as well as opportunities for student filmmakers to get feedback from industry professionals.
The Screening event is held on Friday, March 18 at TCL Chinese Theaters in Hollywood. Fancy attire is encouraged but not required. The event is free and tickets can be reserved online by filling out the form below.

Please arrive early with your digital ticket and proof of vaccination as this event is very popular. Leave yourself enough time for parking, check-in procedures, and securing seating for you and your pod.
The TCL Chinese Theater is located at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, CA and the parking lot entrance is off of Orange Avenue. Validated parking is available for $3.
The Filmmaker Workshop will be held virtually on Saturday, March 19 via Zoom. This event is an opportunity for student filmmakers to connect with one another and receive personalized feedback on their work from industry professionals. This event is free and open to everyone. Please note that we will only be workshopping Westflix ‘22 student films.

12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Break for lunch
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Feedback Session with Jordan Peele’s creative partners Win Rosenfeld and Ian Cooper (President and Creative Director of Monkeypaw, respectively)
Notice: Certain films in our festival deal with more mature subject matter, including violence, mental health, death, and adult language. The intended audience for these films is high school age and above. Viewer discretion is advised.
Accessibility info: There are four designated spaces for wheelchairs in the auditorium accessible by a ramp. Additionally, there is an elevator to the VIP After Party spaces.
COVID SAFETY INFO:
For everyone’s safety, we will be requiring either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours in order to attend this event.
At this point, we are limiting capacity inside the theater to 85% (380 seats) in order for attendees to leave open seats between individuals or groups/pods.
There will be a strict NO WALK-IN policy. All tickets must be reserved in advance.
Masking information: Masks must be worn inside the theater and lobby. Medical-grade masks are recommended and KN95’s will be supplied to those who do not have them and would like them. Concessions will be available indoors, but we ask that attendees replace their mask after bites or sips of food or drink.
