Mission Statement

Through a holistic approach to training, we aim to provide our student athletes with the movement and mental tools necessary to realize their highest skill potential. Multidisciplinary training methods and continual communication with coaches and sports medicine staff physically prepare the student athlete for the rigors of competition and increase their resilience. Our positive-coaching atmosphere is designed to instill a championship attitude and educate our student athletes so they can navigate their lifelong journey toward health and fitness.

    Sports Performance

    I am a Sports Performance Coach at Harvard-Westlake School. 

    Before joining the Wolverines I worked at Milken Community Schools as the Strength and Conditioning and Football assistant coach.  I have worked at the collegiate level at Pierce College, the University of Southern California, and worked with national team programs for United States Beach Volleyball and Water-polo program.

    I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and have a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certification.

    I oversee the Harvard-Westlake strength and conditioning programs for Girls Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Lacrosse, and Track and Field.

    Director of Sports Performance

    I am the Director for Sports Performance at Harvard-Westlake School. I joined the Wolverine family in July of 2017.

    I have over 12 years’ experience in strength and conditioning at the NCAA Division I level, most recently serving as the Director of Sports Performance for California State University of Northridge. 

    At CSUN I supervised the strength & conditioning needs for CSUN’s 20 athletic programs.  Prior to that I was an assistant Strength & Conditioning coach for the UC Davis Aggies from 2008-2010. 

    I received my Master’s in Physical Education/Coaching from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2008, where I served as a strength and conditioning coach for 4 of their varsity programs.  I earned a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004. 

    I work directly with the Harvard-Westlake Baseball, Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Soccer and girls’ volleyball programs.
