  • Upper School Musical COMPANY!

Performances will be in the Rugby Theatre on:
    Friday, November 14th at 7:00pm
    Saturday, November 15th at 7:00pm
    Sunday, November 16th at 4:00pm

COMPANY, Steven Sondheim’s ground-breaking musical features a cast of 18 who never leave the stage during the telling of this story which, according to Sondheim, takes place in the mind of the protagonist, Bobby, on his 35th birthday. Unmarried, unattached, everyone’s-best-friend, the bachelor with many girlfriends, Bobby both seeks and retires from relationships. Company, then, both title and idea, becomes something sought and something scary. COMPANY is musical theater at the very peak of its power. You will be wildly entertained – and maybe, just maybe, a bit wiser. In the words of one of the songs, “And that’s what it’s all about – isn’t it? – that’s what it’s really about.” And because it’s Sondheim, the story is in this question: “Isn’t it?”

COMPANY, directed by Michele Spears and Ted Walch.
